Parents and carers are invited to enrol their children in the Government of WA Vacswim Program in the Sept/October school holidays and also the Dec/January school holidays. Children from ages 5 to 17 years can attend the school holiday program at over 180 locations in WA. Please note the Recreation Centre will charge a small fee for students and parents watching – not included in the VacSwim fees.
The Australian lifestyle presents children with many opportunities to play and swim at our beautiful beaches, swimming pools, rivers and lakes. VacSwim gives children the skills to promote swimming and water safety with confidence. Being water wise is an important skill and lifesaving skills could help save a life one day.
