Padbury Deputy News
I would like to thank all parents and caregivers for following the COVID-19 protocols lately of mask wearing, quick drop-offs and pick-ups, and not congregating before or after school. We remind parents that if your child is unwell, please keep them home until they are better.
A huge thank you to families who sent lovely donations in for the Mother’s Day Stall, and for purchasing Mother’s Day raffle tickets. The raffle will be drawn this Friday 7th May. We will update you with the funds that are raised for the P&C.
We have a few incursions planned for this term which include the Farmyard on Wheels (Pre-primary), Bees (Year 1), Recycling (Pre-primary) and NAIDOC performance (Kindy, Pre-primary, Year 1). Parents will receive information about these closer to the dates. School photos are next week (week 4). Don’t forget to order online through Kapture if you are wanting to purchase photos.
We currently have some works at the Padbury site which include the installation of new pathways around the school, and the installation of new toilets/bathrooms in our Pre-primary/Year 1 block. We thank parents and students in advance for your patience while these works are taking place over the next month. We endeavour to keep the disruption to classes to a minimum.
We occasionally need to contact a parent or carer during the school day. Please ensure that the school office has your current daytime contact number, and that you are contactable on this number during school hours. It is important that we can contact you on this number if something urgent arises.
