Deputies News – Week 3 Term 3

The Community Health Nurses have been checking our Kindy students for hearing, sight and general health, a copy of the assessment will be sent to parents/carers if the nurse has any concerns.

The majority of parents have accessed their child’s Semester 1 (Terms 1 & 2) Student Achievement Report on Connect. If you require assistance in accessing Connect, please contact the office on 9462 9580. Documented Plans with goals for Semester 2 have come home with your child. Contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions.

The WCLDC classes will join in the annual East Hamersley Primary School Sports Carnival on Friday 27th August. Please note that this date is subject to change, depending on the COVID-19 situation at the time, and the weather.  Please check with your class teacher closer to the date regarding parents attending and maybe having to abide by the social distancing agreements arranged by the Dept of Education.

Padbury Deputy News

Our Pre-primary and Year 1 classes have started their Edu-Dance lessons and are enjoying the energetic sessions. Lessons will continue each Monday this term.

Contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions.

The LDC classes at Padbury will join in the Padbury Primary School Athletics Carnival on Wednesday 15th September. Please note that this date is subject to change, depending on the COVID-19 situation at the time, and the weather. Kindy A and Pre-primary classes will be participating in the carnival until recess time and our Year One classes will be participating in the carnival until lunchtime. A decision will be made closer to the time regarding parents attending, and we will inform you of this.

Parking on MacDonald Avenue can become very congested and this can cause safety concerns for our students. With this in mind, please ensure that you do not do U-turns after drop off and pick up, and please park on the school side of the road whenever possible. We appreciate the continued co-operation of all parents.

Next Thursday 12th August is a School Development Day for staff. Students do not attend school on this day.
