Padbury Deputy News
One of the most rewarding parts of an educator’s job is seeing the progress that students make over the year. It is pleasing to see the gains that the children have made since term one, which is a testament to the ongoing hard work and collaboration between students, staff and parents over the year.
Student Reports will be on Connect for parents/carers to read in the final week of term.
For Kindy children, this will be your child’s rated goal sheets and teacher comments. For Pre-primary and Year One children, this will be your child’s rated goal sheets, teacher comments and a Student Achievement Report.
Our Year One classes are looking forward to their Kings Park excursion this Friday 10th December. Students will be learning about Noongar Culture at Kaarta Kooma (Kings Park) and the value of caring for Country. Students will also participate in structured play activities in the Rio Tinto Naturescape area. Thank you to family members who are volunteering on Friday. Your time is much appreciated. I know the Year One children are very excited.
Classes are having special celebrations for students in the final week of term. I would like to take this opportunity to wish exiting students all the best for next year as they transition to their new schools. We keep lines of communication open between the LDC and mainstream schools. I wish these students a happy and smooth transition in 2022. I wish all families a safe and relaxing holiday break, and we look forward to seeing returning students in the new year.
